Wayuu- little bags are hand-knotted by the Wayuu tribe of the Colombian Caribbean coast. Wayuu weaving is a symbol of tribal pride that is passed down from generation to generation and tells a story about the weavers’ life through symbols & color! The Women of the tribe make the bags over the course of a month while the men-folk weave the straps.

The Wayuu-little style is the original style of the Wayuu mochila but just a miniture version. Perfect for kids or for when you just need a little something!

Why choose us?

No time like the present

Each brand features unique, modern pieces, driven by creativity, made ethically by hand, and produced with purpose for their mission. Therefore giving consumers more reasons to feel secure in their purchases. Now, more than ever, we need reasons to feel good about our purchases. With mass production of materials, slave labor and inhumane working conditions are becoming too prevalent in the retail world. This is how WE are doing our part, so you can too.

The future is female

We enable female business owners to diversify their income by providing a platform to share their story with the world. In addition, we are here as a catalyst for generational change, to showcase brands who can foster mentorship to the next generation of entrepreneurs. When you purchase from us, you're not only contributing to each brand's success, but to the communities they impact, providing financial independence and influencing younger generations to follow in their pursuits.

Funding the Future

When we support women owned and led businesses, we are funding the future. We are providing income and resources for families in need. Each purchase is one step towards creating the path for the next generation to follow.

NEAR AND FAR

The Fabula Collective sources brands on a glocal scale. That's right, global and local. We want our customers to experience the best in handmade; artisanal pieces that are local to our home in the Southern U.S. as well as from around the world.
